Little bug, happy two years of life. For two years you’ve been growing, and so have I. For two years, you’ve been changing, and so have I. For two years, I’ve been yours, and you’ve been mine. Every second of every day I’m thinking about you, babe. You’ve completely taken my attention and every ounce of me. My favorite parts of every day always include you - whether that’s dancing around the kitchen while you belt out “Mamma Mia” songs or watching Dancing with the Stars while you gush about how “cute” Juan Pablo is. This year, you learned to talk (constantly), you’ve learned to dance (you bypassed walking), you’ve learned to sing, and most importantly, you’ve learned to be brave and kind. Your bravery is inspiring. You try new things without hesitation and make new friends everywhere. Your kindness is beautiful. You kiss my head when I’ve got an “ache,” and you say you’re “so sorry” whenever you bump into someone (or something). You are the epitome of beauty, inside and out. I could not love you more if I tried, but somehow I know I’ll love you more tomorrow. I hope you continue to ask everyone if they’re “okay.” I hope you keep telling everyone they’re beautiful. I hope you always ask me to sing you “sunshine” before you go to sleep. I hope you never lose your love of hugs, kisses, and snugs. I hope you keep dancing to every single song you hear, and singing even when you don’t know the words. I hope you’re always brave. I hope you’re always kind. And finally, I hope you always believe in fairytales. Because you, my love, are magic.
