J's Fav Fall Fashion Finds!

Say that title five times fast ;) As a Minnesotan, I feel like I have to like fall. Let's be real, the leaves changing, the cooler temps, the crisp feel in the air is what most (all) Minnesotans look forward to. And if it's not the temp you're a fan of, you're usually a fan of either football or pumpkin spice lattes ;) My personal fav when it comes to fall is the FASHION. There are so many pieces that I'm obsessed with, but I narrowed it down to some of my favorites this fall!

1) Perhaps the most obvious thing to wear in the fall is sweaters - right? But sweaters are SO versatile! I'm currently loving turtlenecks and mock necks because they are comfy, cozy, and they keep me warm when the temps start to dip! I've found some of the most cost-friendly turtlenecks at Target, H&M, and online boutiques like Goodnight Macaroon!

2) Booties. All the booties. We never know when we're getting snow around here so I feel like wearing booties from September through December is kind of an obvious choice! I found my all-time fav booties this season from White Peony boutique! They're leopard-print, they're slightly heeled, and they're so dang comfortable!

3) So jeans are technically not just for fall - but hear me out! I've found a brand that works SO WELL for me - so maybe you'd love them too! I struggle with jeans because I have chicken legs, but I've got some hips. So finding jeans that work for both my legs and hips is tricky! But LOW AND BEHOLD I FOUND JEANS - Flying Monkey Brand. I've mentioned them on our Instagram a few times, and I stand by every word I've said about them! They are fantastic. I own about 6 pairs now and they keep getting better. I've found mine at both Apricot Lane and Dry Goods!

4) I've never been a huge fan of hats because I feel like I can't pull them off - anyone else with me? But I've found a few hats this season that are making me OBSESSED. Lo is the queen of cute hats so I always get my hat ideas from her! They're so easy to throw on when you're hitting day 3...4....5 of unwashed hair. And come on, a cute hat with a cozy turtleneck and some booties is like, the definition of fall! Some of the cutest hats I've found are all Amazon - and all super cost-friendly! If you're looking to splurge on a hat that will last you a while, I've found some of the best on Revolve!

5) Lastly, I can't forget about sunglasses! I've always stuck with the same couple pairs of sunglasses because I liked the aviator style. However, I've found some super cute cheaper sunglasses on Amazon that I'm currently LOVING! When the snow starts to hit (which it will obvi do in the fall because, Minnesota) it's so nice to have a pair of sunglasses to throw on - that snow glare is killer!
