When I have bad skin, I feel gross. Like, horrible. It’s not enjoyable to be thinking about all of the markings all over your skin. And let’s be real, we’ve all been there. Last January, I started trying tons of different products to save my skin that was full of cystic acne, full of blotches, and dry/oily in different places. I was so confused where to start, so I literally tried everything. After trying what seemed like a hundred products, I noticed around May that my skin was not only completely clearing in terms of acne, but the coloring was balanced! Ugh, felt so good. I’ve listed below some of the products that have made a huge difference in my skin!

Neutrogena make-up wipes - Okay, this one I’ve been using since high school, so it doesn’t really count. HOWEVER, I’ve found after trying a ton of products that this one has stayed strong!

Garnier Micellar Cleansing Water - Have you ever noticed how make-up wipes don’t completely take off your make-up? Then this stuff will be your JAM. After removing my make-up with a wipe, I take a washcloth and gently rub off excess make-up with micellor water and it makes a HUGE difference!

Beauty Counter Charcoal Mask - This one is for those pesky breakouts that happen from excess oil. I have super dry skin on parts of my face, but then a crazy oily t-zone. I’m obsessed with this mask for those oily spots! And honestly, I even throw this on random zits that need to get lost!

Kiehl’s Ultra Facial Cream (face lotion) - I’ve tried a few face lotions and I’ve found two that are absolutely amazing. It seems annoying, but I actually use them both daily on different parts of my face. This lotion is great for those crazy dry spots on my face because it’s a bit thicker! It’s a bit spendier, but I swear the container lasts forever!

Air Repair Complexion Boosting Moisturizer - This one is insane. I swear it’s completely changed the discoloration my face in only a couple months! I also love this stuff because it’s thinner than the Kiehl’s cream, so I don’t feel like it clogs my pores at all!

Mario Badescu Facial Spray - So many uses for this stuff! My sister-in-law got me a couple bottles of these sprays for Christmas last year and NO JOKE, I’m on my third set! I use this in the morning, at night, and it’s especially amazing as a make-up setting spray. It comes in a few different scents which is great if you have a preference!

My skin is still not the greatest, and I suffer from cystic break-outs every once and a while. Overall though, my skin has NEVER looked better!
