I can't be the only person that waits last minute to figure out a Halloween costume. And honestly, I'm thanking my lucky stars that my daughter wants to go as the same thing as last year because I fully procrastinated on her costume as well. Oops. So to all you mommas who like to stress out with last minute costumes - do not fear! I've come up with a list of things you might have around the house to create a great one!

Cheetah or Leopard - My daughter's closet is FULL of cheetah print stuff. I'm talking sweatshirts, leggings, tees, etc. So go through your little one's closet and find some animal print! If you find it (which if you've shopped at Target recently, you probs have some sort of animal print) just throw it on the kiddo and add a nose with some black eyeliner! Need ears? Take a headband and an old tee, cut some ear shapes out of the tee, and glue them to the headband!
Princess - Again with the Target shopping, but seriously, I'm at Target at least twice a week. Target is FULL of princess pajamas! They are comfy, cozy, and seriously look like princess dresses! So instead of buying a $50 costume, run to Target and grab a pair of pj's that your little one will wear for months! Aubree's Anna "costume" that she wore last year (and is OBSESSED with) has been worn every week for a year, and she STILL wants to wear it for Halloween this year! So thanks, Target!
Tin-man - Does your little man or lady have gray clothes? Throw a full on groutfit (gray-outfit lol) on him/her and grab a silver colander from your kitchen. VOILA! You've got yourself a mini tin-man or tin-lady!
Bank Robber - This one is SO easy, and again, something that you can easily find in a toddler's closet. Have any clothes with black and white stripes?? Aubree has a so many cute tops with this pattern! Throw on a black and white striped tee or long-sleeve, a pair of black leggings, and draw on a mask with either black eyeshadow or (if you have it) black paint!
Men in Black - Does your little guy have a black suit from a special event? If so, this one could be adorable! Have him throw on the suit and grab a pair of sunglasses lying around the house! Instant men-in-black costume!
Old Lady - I personally LOVE when I see little toddlers dressed up as older people lol, it melts my entire HEART. If your little one has a robe, have them throw it over some pajamas, grab a pair of fake glasses (come on, we all have them because, fashionable), and draw some wrinkles all over their cute little faces!
So don't stress today if you're searching for a last minute costume! It's not as hard as ya think!
