I did a thing, you guys. After spending WAY TOO MUCH time on my eyelashes every morning, I finally gave in and got extensions! If you want more details on my extensions or are interested in getting them yourself, keep on reading! Also, no judgements on those eyebrows in the pic below, I'm growing those suckers out ;)

So, my sister-in-law has been getting her lashes done by a wonderful gal named, Carly, for a while now. She always raves about how obsessed she is with her lashes, aaaaand now, I SEE WHY! Carly owns a company called, Breathtaking Beauty, and she treats lashes so well and goes the extra mile to make sure your lashes are perfect. I was really nervous to get these babies put on because I've heard so many horror stories about them - haven't we all?! But for real, all of my worries went away within minutes of getting my lashes done. I love a nice and full lash but I did not want it to look obnoxiously fluffy, so I got the "blended volume" set which worked perfectly for me. If you're thinking about getting your lashes done, I would recommend asking what sets they have available! That way, you can decide how full and fluffy you want them. I also was really worried about being able to feel them on my eyes. I do not have very sensitive eyes, but I worried about the heaviness I would feel. Carly's lashes are SO ridiculously weightless that the first thing I said was, "I can't feel a thing!" Be sure that your lash specialist uses high quality lashes, because I truly think that's what makes Carly stand out - she uses such great lashes that I do not feel them on my eyes at all! To take care of my lashes, Carly recommended using Micellar water from Garnier every couple of days. If you guys aren't familiar with Micellar water, you can literally buy it for $3.99 at Walmart, which is great for those of us who don't want to spend the extra money on expensive cleansers ;)
I cannot say enough about how great my lash experience was! We all feel great with a bit of mascara, right?! The fact that I'll never have to add mascara in order to get that fluttery-fell is amazing! If you guys want to check out some of Carly's work, or if you're in the Saint Cloud area and want more info on Breathtaking Beauty, follow her insta (@breathtakingbeauty)!
