I've been waitinggggg so very (un)patiently to share with you my 2020 book list! I'm obsessed with reading. (Probably the reason I wanted to become an English teacher, lol.) There is just something about diving into a completely different world and immersing yourself into someone else's life. I have to say, part of the reason I love reading so much is the escape. I get to live vicariously through someone else's drama! Unfortunately, with how busy life always gets, I wasn't able to read NEARLY as many novels as I would have liked to this year. However, I still made you a list of all the books I found myself obsessing over this year! NOTE: I really got into the abduction and freaky novels this year, you'll see ;)

Then She Was Gone, by Lisa Jewell: This one makes me legitimately upset. It's about a young teenage girl, and as mother of a girl, I was heartbroken. I loved this book, but I also don't think I could reread it. So, my disclaimer would definitely be to ONLY read this book if you can stomach the details of a young girl being abducted.
Find Her, by Lisa Gardner: I definitely wouldn't read this one if you live alone, or get scared easily. This was probably the most stomach-churning novel I read this year. However, I got really into these abduction/thriller novels this year and this one takes the cake.
Where the Crawdads Sing, by Delia Owens: I cannot say enough amazing things about this book. Not only is it beautifully written, it is an amazing story. I have to say I was drawn to this novel because it was plastered everywhere online, lol. After reading it, I can see why! Make sure you read to the very last word very carefully because there are quite a few twists!
See Me, by Nicholas Sparks: This one was a page turner! I was immediately drawn to it because it's one of Nicholas Sparks more thriller-ish novels. I love a good thriller! I also love Nicholas Sparks, so, WIN-WIN!
The Home Edit: Basically if you want to feel horrible about your organization skills, read this book, lol. I took an immediate trip to The Container Store online every other page. I have zero confidence that my house will look like the house they organize, but hey, it gave me some great ideas!
Magnolia Kitchen, Joanna Gaines: My mom had thee books sitting in her kitchen when we moved into her house, and I was drawn to the aesthetics like crazy! I actually asked for both of these cookbooks for Christmas! I love her recipes and how simple they are to follow.
The Crossfire Series, by Sylvia Day: Okay, this one is literally 50 Shades of Gray on steroids. This is the only book/series I had to read on a Kindle because I didn't want anyone seeing me read it! If you love raunchy love stories, this one is FOR YOU!
The Mister, EL James: This one is very similar to the Crossfire Series, but slightly less inappropriate, lol. I loved this storyline and it hooked me within pages!
Open Book, Jessica Simpson: I've been a huge JS fan since I was little! Her memoir is absolutely heart-wrenching, and it is soooo cool to read everything from her standpoint.
There you have it! Let me know your 2021 suggestions! I need a new collection!
