I married my amazing husband on May 21st, 2017, in Walt Disney World.

LET ME TELL YOU - It was a dream. Wait, no, A FAIRYTALE COME TRUE. When I told Ty that I wanted to get married in Disney World (before he proposed might I add), he thought I was nuts. First of all, he knew little to nothing about Disney-esque things (how rude). Secondly, he wasn't keen on the whole cheesy, ride into the sunset on a horse drawn carriage concept. With that said, he's a total romantic. He wanted my wedding to be as special as possible and exactly what I envisioned. So he rallied, and let me do the thing. (Thanks, babe). The wedding itself was spectacular and everything I could have imagined. I love Disney more than most 6 year olds. So, when planning this wedding, I wanted it to feel as if I was a true Disney princess (aka my life goal). Disney has SO many options for weddings that I honestly had a hard time deciding what exactly I wanted. I can get into detail about the planning process another time, but for now, I'll stick with the day of. We decided not to see each other until I walked down the aisle, so we got ready in separate hotels and took pictures at different times.

The girls stayed a couple nights before and got ready the morning of at the Grand Floridan Hotel, which I have to add, is BEAUTIFUL. It looks like a true beach club with all of the magic of Disney World. The morning of the wedding, we got ready in our suite and then took pictures inside the lobby because like I said, the place was GORGEOUS. Quick side note - the boys actually stayed at the Contemporary hotel which is just as beautiful but more, well, contemporary. Anyways, I arrived to Disney's Wedding Pavilion with my dad in a horse-drawn carriage. YES, I KNOW, I'm an absolute cheeseball. But, I felt like a princess which I'm told is how you're suppose to feel on your wedding day ;) We arrived to the Pavilion which is located directly next to the Grand Flordian Hotel. The wedding itself was a dream, and I have a hard time remembering it because I was on an actual cloud of happiness the entire time. Thank God for wedding videos! My husband cried, the audience cried (shout out to the 60ish friends and family that flew from Minnesota and drove from various places all the way to Florida to be a part of our day), and I cried even more. We had set it up to have our reception in Epcot near "France," but because of the rain we had (RAIN IS GOOD LUCK I PROMISE), we ended up having our reception in the "Under the Sea" exhibit. You guys, THE COOLEST THING. We literally ate dinner under an aquarium with turtles and sharks and all of the pretty fish right next to us. After dinner, the storm clouds left (thank God) and we were able to see the fireworks. Disney set it up so we had access to a pavilion that looked directly out on the water and we watched the fireworks AND LIVED HAPPILY EVER AFTER.
