LIFE UPDATE COMIN' ATCHA

I'm back I'm back I'm back! And hopefully I don't stress myself out this time around, lol. First of all, you're probably wondering why I took a solid 9 month break (or you literally don't care, that's cool too). For starters, I NEEDED the break. I fell into this after-baby stress amidst the COVID quarantine and I felt like I was straight up drowning. Even though I don't feel 100% out of the stress (I mean, I'm a teacher, so like, all the stress), I still wanted something to make me feel creative! And that is this blog! I feel like my creative juices need me to write, and I'm all for that.

So, some of you might be wondering about Lo. She has decided not to continue with the blog because that girl has MOUNDS of things to do in her life. I totally understand, but I'm absolutely going to be constantly bugging her to hangout with me and be on the blog anyways, lol. Sorry, Lo, it's going to happen.

Since March, I've had about ten hundred bajillion things happen in my life. Okay, exaggeration, obvi. My little newborn son is now almost 9 months old - WHAT. My toddler is now turning into a full on KID. We sold our house. We started building our dream home. I started my second year of teaching during COVID. All of the things. It's been crazy. I think that's also why I felt like the blog just took a backseat. With so many things going on, I couldn't put any more energy into it because I DIDN'T HAVE ANY. Luckily, things are starting to settle a bit and get easier - as easy as they can get with two kids, building a home, and having a career hahahaha.

I promise to keep you all updated as I navigate this new chapter of my life. I'm excited to write again, and I'm excited to have this little family in the blogging world <3 xo, jess
